Le Petit Green is a mobile app for teaching golf to beginners: learning the R&A rules, a golf-course map, building your bag and tracking your progress. This privacy policy applies to the mobile app developed and published by Ahjin Development.

1. Data controller

The data controller is the publisher of the Le Petit Green app. For any question regarding your personal data, you can contact us at: jason@ahjin.dev.

2. Data we collect

We limit collection to what is strictly necessary for the app to work.

Using the app without an account

The app can be used without creating an account. In that case, your data (progress, bag, preferences) stays stored locally on your device and is not sent to our servers.

With an account

• Account: email address and password. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication; your password is never shared with us in plain text.
• Profile: first name, last name, username and, if you wish, a profile photo.
• Progress: training and exam results, R&A learning index.
• Bag: your club selection and personal notes.
• Premium subscription: your subscription status, managed via RevenueCat. Payment data is processed directly by Apple or Google; we never have access to it.
• Notifications: your preferences and a technical device identifier (push token), if you enable them.
• Diagnostics and analytics: crash reports and aggregated usage data (device type, app version, usage events, error logs), via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, to fix bugs and improve the app. This data is not used for advertising and is not linked to any identifying information.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Create and manage your account, sync your data across your devices — performance of a contract.
• Save your profile, bag and progress (subscriber feature) — performance of a contract.
• Manage your Premium subscription — performance of a contract.
• Send you notifications (reminders, lives refill) — your consent, revocable at any time.
• Improve the app and fix bugs — legitimate interest.

4. Processors and sharing

We do not sell your data and do not display third-party advertising. We use the following providers:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics) — hosting and syncing your account data, crash reports and analytics.
• RevenueCat — technical management of subscriptions.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing and app distribution.

These providers may process data outside the European Union. Where applicable, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

5. Data retention

Your account data is kept for as long as your account is active. It is deleted when you delete your account (see section 7). Data stored only locally is erased when you uninstall the app.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection to processing.

• You can view and edit your profile directly in the app.
• You can delete your account and all your data at any time (see section 7).
• For any other request, email us at jason@ahjin.dev.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the app: Profile → Settings (⚙️) → Delete my account. This action is permanent and erases your account and all associated data (profile, bag, progress) from our servers.

8. Security

Exchanges with our servers are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to each user's data is isolated by server-side security rules: only the account holder can access their own data.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. If there is a significant change, we will notify you in the app. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
